Special cheer for all the family: a waterdrop® mocktail recipe bedecked with festive flavour.

Christmas is a time of new discoveries and cherished traditions, and when it comes to drinks, pouring something between surprise and memorable makes for some punchy festivities. The challenge when it comes to non-alcoholic drinks is to make them as bold and indulgent as their spirited counterparts. Thankfully, they don’t need to be pricey or any more complicated than Santa’s big ‘drop-off’. Let’s unwrap one such idea in the form of A Starry Night – wholesome, full-bodied refreshment with the warmth of sparkling spice.

A Starry Night

What you’ll need:

1 x waterdrop® BLACKBERRY hydration cube

Juice of 1 orange

1 x apple

2 x cinnamon sticks

2 x star anise

How to prepare:

Combine the orange juice, apple slices, a cinnamon stick and star anise in a saucepan and bring to a boil and then let it cool down.

Dissolve the waterdrop® BLACKBERRY hydration cube in 400ml sparkling water and add the cooled down mixture above, and stir.

Add ice and garnish with a cinnamon stick and a couple of apple slices.

For extra cosy, you can serve hot using still water instead of sparkling.
